STEP ONE:
TO PRE-ENROLL, PLEASE, PRINT, COMPLETE, AND BRING THIS FORM TO SCHOOL BETWEEN APRIL 15 TO MAY 15. ALL APPLICATIONS BROUGHT TO SCHOOL AFTER MAY 15, IF THERE IS NO SPACE AVAILABLE WILL IMMEDIATELY BE PLACED IN THE WAITING LIST IN THE ORDER THEY ARE RECEIVED.
STEP TWO:
LOTTERY PROCEDURE
ALL STUDENTS NEW TO THE SCHOOL, ARE SUBJECT TO OUR LOTTERY PROCESS, FORMER STUDENTS DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE LOTTERY.
Pre-enrollment applications for new students in every grade level are accepted from April 15th through May 15th. If the number of eligible applicants does not exceed the number of vacancies, then all applicants who timely applied, are offered admission. If there are more eligible applicants than available spaces in a class, then a lottery will be conducted on Monday following May 15th. A name is drawn for each vacancy that exists, and each applicant whose name is drawn is offered admission. The remaining names are then drawn and placed on a waiting list in the order they were drawn. If a vacancy arises before the commencement of the school year or during the school year, the individual on the waiting list with the lowest number assignment will be offered admission and then removed from the waiting list. If an application is received after the application period has passed, the applicant’s name is added to the waiting list behind the names of the applicants who timely applied. Applicants are not required to provide copies of transcripts or other academic records prior to enrollment. In addition, a student will not be precluded from enrolling due to DRAW Academy Charter School’s failure to receive the information required for enrollment from the student’s parent and/or previous school.

TODOS LOS ESTUDIANTES NUEVOS ESTAN SUJETOS AL PROCESO DE LOTERIA, ESTUDIANTES QUE HAYAN ASISTIDO A LA ESCUELA NO PARTICIPAN DE LA LOTERIA.
Las aplicaciones para estudiantes nuevos en todos los grados son recibidas desde Abril 15 hasta Mayo 15. Si el numero de aplicantes elegibles no excede el numero de vacantes, todos los aplicantes son admitidos. Si hay mas aplicantes elegibles que espacios disponibles en la clase, se realizara una loteria en el lunes siguiente a Mayo 15. Un nombre es sorteado por cada espacio disponible y a cada estudiante seleccionado se le ofrece admision. Los nombres restantes son sorteados y anotados en una lista de espera en el orden en el que fueron sorteados. Si ocurre un espacio disponible antes del comienzo o durante el año escolar, se le ofrece al estudiante en la lista de espera con el numero menor y es removido de la lista de espera. Si una aplicacion es recibida despues del periodo de aplicaciones, su nombre es agregado al final de la lista de espera despues de los estudiantes que aplicaron a tiempo. No se require que los aplicantes presenten copias de sus records academicos previo a su admision. Adicionalmente no le sera impedido a ningun estudiante la admision aun si DRAW Academy Charter School no recibe la informacion requerida para su admision de parte de los padres del estudiante o de la escuela previa.
